I was born in 82', in Ankara. Attended to regular schools and stuff. Have a degree in Accounting Information Systems from University of Bilkent, and the profession was, is and will probably be boring to me as ever, so I decided to follow an alternative career.

I was always into music, a side effect of being the son of two very talented people I have ever known, in means of every aspect of life. Had my first guitar, which was a broken classical thingy, at the age of 5. Lingered with it and with other instruments on an amateur level till the age of 17. After that, I started playing drums and guitar in bands. The most important one was (and still being active - is) Dreamtone ( www.dreamtone.net ). After some works with those instruments, I decided to do vocals and became a singer, which turned out to be my main stage profession. I am now the singer of Dreamtone and its side project, Neverland. Near to these, I have a solo band / project called Maegi. These hold a huge part of my life.

With Dreamtone and Neverland, I had the chance to work with famous idols of metal music scene such as Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian), Jon Oliva (Savatage, Trans Siberian Orchestra), Edu Falaschi (Angra), Tom Englund (Evergrey), Urban breed (Tad Morose), Mike Baker - R.I.P. (Shadow Gallery), Gary Wehrkamp (Shadow Gallery) and more. Maegi will carry on this tradition, to work with my favorite musicians from around the world.

I am asked if I have music education. I had classical singing courses for five years. Near to that, I learnt a little bit of composition basics from my dad and had some training over various instruments. Though I usually hate following scripted rules, especially the singing education was an essential part of my musical journey.

I started working on my compositions back in high school. Wrote many many songs. I believe the first few years had terrible results, but I eventually managed to make it OK and composing turned out to be my main profession as a music person. Singing is the thing that I seem to be doing as the main thing but I see myself as a composer first. I have been composing for Neverland, Dreamtone and solely for fun for years now and back in 2009, I decided to merge this passion of mine with computer games, since I am a gaming addict. I always wanted to write music for games. I finally had the courage and knowledge to do that, as well as the rig, and started working on projects.

Back in 2009, I started working on music soundtracks for mod communities and with some luck, I started to get involved in indie development projects within months. I am happy that people like what I am doing and I am planning to continue working with music soundtracks for the rest of my life. Though I am not sure if it is enough to pay the rent haha.

Besides being a musician, I worked with various music magazines in Turkey from 1999 to 2008. Most important one for me as well as having a huge impact on my development in music and perspective of business was Zor Magazine. Great memories, great friends.

I also own a graphical design company with my Dreamtone mate Emrecan Sevdin and work on various design stuff, mostly with construction and medical companies.
