Create your own Crocodile
Ready to make your own crocodile using just a toilet roll and some Neverland magic!
What you'll need:
2 toilet roll tubes
Green paint or a green paper
White paper
Black colouring pen
Glue
Sticky tape
Scissors (ask a grown-up!)
Googly eyes (optional)
Foil (optional)
Paint your croc
Get the toilet roll tubes and glue them together to make the Crocodile's head and body.
Once the tubes are stuck together, paint them green. No paint? Use a piece of green paper and ask a grown-up to help you glue it on.
Let them dry for 15 minutes.
Make the face
Next, you need to make the mouth. Ask a grown-up for help and cut a small triangle out of each side of one end of the toilet roll.
Cut a few small triangles out of the white paper for the teeth and glue them inside the mouth opening, on the top and the bottom. Use foil on top for shiny teeth!
Cut two small circles out of the white paper and draw black dots in the middle for the eyes.
Glue the eyes on top of the tube, near the mouth end. Or stick googly eyes on instead!
Draw two black circles at the end of the head for the nostrils.
Finish the Crocodile
Use the black colouring pen to draw scales on the body.
Ask a grown-up to help you cut a bigger triangle out of the green paper for the tail. Use the glue to stick the tail on the other end of the Crocodile.
Now your Crocodile is ready for its next adventure!
The Crocodile's top tips
Ask a grown-up to help you put rice inside of the tube. Then tape the holes of the toilet roll and shake it to make a tick tock sound just like the Crocodile!
You can stick sequins on the body of the crocodile to look like shiny scales.
